Please check out the website at www.skilltoys.ca and stay tuned for updates on Lynettes website.
A special Thank You goes out to Ezra Nikle for driving me to Winnipeg Harvest last minute to pick up the signs and boxes. Geordy Sykes for driving me on my lunch hour to drop off the goods and to Lindsay Greschuk for making all the wonderful videos for Prop-Shops.

**Payment at the door, please advise the door guy/girl that you have pre registered**
***If you’re under the age of 18 you will require to have your parent come down with you and sign a form.

Intro to Hula hooping – Catherine Laing of Nadanam Dance
Catherine has been a fire performer way before i have even touched a fire torch and has been one of the fire performers to watch grow each year. After watching her at the 2011 FolkFestival campground fire performance with WyldFire Dance productions I was excited to hear her say “yes” to doing a workshop.
She’ll get you up to speed and down to the basics of Hulahooping… and maybe you’ll have a chance to learn how to hoop on your feet if you ask nicely.
Please visit her website at NADANAM DANCE & YOGA Co.
Intro to Juggling – Vincent Champagne – Gravity Still Works
Vincent is one of Winnipeg’s events go to guy. He busks, performs, sings, dances, plays with every prop imaginable (and hula hoops), makes balloon sculptures suitable for all kinds of events, face paints, juggles…and the list can go one from my house to yours.
Just because he can do all this and do it well, does not take away the fact that he’s humble about it.
Vincent will show you the basics of juggling, from how to pick it up off the floor (notice how Gravity is still working?) to helping you get to three balls continuous for 10x around. No longer at the basics? Ask him for a new trick or two to work on.
Please visit Gravity Still Works Facebook page for more fun : Gravity Still Works
Intro to Poi – Natasha O’Reilly – Atomic Fire
Natasha has been spinning poi and performing since April 2008. Her passion lies in the prop community which has inspired her to coordinate Prop Shops. She has attended prop-work manipulation workshops in Calgary and Winnipeg, with this workshop attendance on her prop resume she is ready to share with you what she knows.
With that in mind, beginners be ready to start off with some 3 beat weaves, butterflies, backwards 3 beat weave, thread the needles and more. For every time she says scoop the ice cream she has to donate .25 to the GET THE PROP INTERNATIONAL TEACHERS TO WESTERN CANADA FUND…
